About Us

Post Office Stores has been run by us (Carolyn and Andy Rushforth) since December 1999. We aim to provide a business that meets the needs of our community and that includes both those who live in and those who visit the area.

Post Office Stores, as the name suggests, is a business of two halves. There is a community Post Office that offers a range of services. The well-stocked shop offers a good selection of groceries, fruit and vegetables, beers, wines and spirits. The dairy chiller offers fresh milk daily, cheese, ham and other foodstuffs and well-stocked freezers carry an excellent range of home cooking, convenience and vegetarian products.

Small we may be when compared to the supermarkets but we aim to offer excellent service and quality at a competitive price. Try us you will be surprised!

One of our top selling lines is the humble toothbrush! It's amazing how many people come away for the weekend and forget theirs!
